| Requirements: | Instructor: Mary Neely Clendeninn 808.651.3981 maryclendeninn@gmail.com Fabric Requirements: It is safe to count the repeats as well. I always get one more than needed. Six will be needed for this project. Count 7 and then cut for purchase. 1. Focal Fabric Repeat size in inches Fabric needed in yards 6” – 10” 2 yards 12” 2½ yards 16” 3¼ yards 24” 4½ yards Please note that the size of the quilt will depend on the number of blocks you can cut from the fabric repeat. The quilt will be smaller if you choose a repeat that is between 6”- 10”. 2. Borders: 2 yards (purchase after the center of quilt has been made) 3. Binding: ½ yard (purchase after the quilt top has been fully assembled) Other supplies: ? Thread ? Sewing machine in good working order with new needle 80/12 or 90/14 ? Robbins already with thread ? 60-degree triangle ruler with at least 6” measurement ? Rotary cutter with new blade ? Scissors: shears and nippers ? Pencil ? Pins: Flat head and straight pins ? Cutting mat ? ¼” piecing foot with guide ? Rulers: 12” and 24” rulers Books: One Block Wonder and One Block Wonder Encore by Maxine Rosenthal is required for this class. Books are available in the shop. |
